No matter how big or small it is, Avon has become part of our childhood or teenage years. In my case, the clear mascara and lip & cheek tint were my best friends in high school. So just last week, I got excited when Avon invited me to take part in one of their biggest events, "Avon City," featuring their bestselling products in fun and interactive booths.

This booth was fun and a lifesaver, I must say! Thanks to the Avon girls, I finally learned how to get my right bra size because all this time I got it all wrong. We also got a free bra after getting the right fit.

Everybody has their own personality and what's a more fun way to manifest it but through our scent of choice. Avon has a wide selection for their "Be Spritz" fragrance and after trying it all out, I found "Be Stylish" as my perfect match!

My mom is the best example on how good Skin So Soft Hand & Body Lotion is because it has been her "holy grail" since I don't know when. I have never not seen a bottle of it on her dresser. Another thing that Avon has been known for is their lipstick. I tried the Perfectly Matte range and it took me a lot of swatches before I realized that I simply wanted to get everything. For everyday look or events, name it, they have a shade that's perfect for you.

When it comes to Avon products, their skincare line was the least that I knew about until I hit my 20s and researched more about skin care and got addicted to it. I found out that Avon Naturals Skincare has this mild range of products that are infused with ingredients that nourish, purify and whiten the skin.
Avon Simply Pretty is their makeup line that caters to teenagers. As I mentioned before, this specific line became part of my grade school and high school years. During the event though, even though I'm no longer a teen, I still fell in love with the glitter eyeshadow rollers. I need that in my life.

Avon literally has everything--from makeup, jewelry, skincare, intimate wear, to even a home and kids line. Perfect for the back-to-school season, Avon has a wide variety of school bags for kids in pre-school and elementary.
Going through all the booths at the event was fun! Not only because I got a bunch of freebies, I also learned a lot about the brand. Avon isn't just a brochure that I saw my mom browsing since I was a kid. It's a lot more. Its purpose is to create a world with more empowered women. We just don't see women selling Avon products to reach their dreams, but in a way, they also help build another woman's dream -- in business and sisterhood. A passion with a purpose is what the world needs nowadays and I'm so glad that Avon's mission is continuing to flourish with over six million women all over the world.
