I have been to Bali a couple of times before so if you're looking for a first timer's guide, this is not the one... sorry! Bali has always been my favorite island and I always, always make sure that I won't ever skip a year without visiting it. The atmosphere, the never-ending list of food (and smoothie bowl!!) places, surfing, nature tripping, partying and the sunset sessions that not once failed to put me in awe every single day. Probably wanting to live there will précis all the compliments that I just threw right there haha. So here I have a list of things to do the next time you visit Bali.
All thanks to Indonesia Ministry of Tourism for taking us on this trip.
Sunrise at Lempuyang Temple
Make sure to to make it right before sunrise because it's less crowded and cloudy.
A day trip to Nusa Penida
The boat and car ride might be too bumpy (that's understated) but the view will definitely be worth it. A day trip would be enough but exhausting so if you plan to make it a relaxed tour, stay for at least two nights in the island.
Stay in Maya Ubud
One of the best hotels in Bali that has a rice terraces room view and sunrise is just amazing.
Check out their website here.
Brunch at Kynd Community
I'm pretty sure you already saw a photo like this on Instagram before but their smoothie bowl is one of the best in the island and I'm not even kidding.
Happy hour at Tropicola
A new beach club that opened last 2018 by the same owner of Motel Mexicola. It's a great place to spend happy hour until sunset. Check out their Instagram page: @tropicolabali)
Get a massage at Prana Spa
The best two hour massage that I've had. That's all.
Feed the fishes at Tirta Gangga
It's a former royal palace located in Karangasem.
Explore Taman Ujung
It's also called Water Palace that's located at the east part of Bali.
Party at Omnia
It's currently one of the hippest party places in Uluwatu. The view is breathtaking specially when you pair it with their pina colada.
Stay in or have dinner W Hotel
My favorite hotel in Seminyak. Don't forget to try their floating breakfast and Wagyu burger.
You're welcome.
And of course... don't forget to watch the spectacular sunset anywhere in Bali.
And the list goes on...
- Sunset at La Brisa or La Laguna in Canggu
- Party at La Favela
- Get tacos and drinks at Motel Mexicola
- Brunch at The Loft in Canggu or Neon Palms in Seminyak
There you go! Hope you enjoy these recommendations on your next Bali trip <3
