The second part of my long overdue Bali posts are here! And this time, I'll be sharing with you my favorites, starting of with my favorite quote from "Eat Pray Love" haha. Bear with me I don't know how to start this post okay? This was supposed to be a photodiary but it's 4am and I can't sleep so here I am again.

For the first three nights, we stayed in Sense Hotel located in Seminyak area. For me, Seminyak is my favorite part of the island because of the chill vibe.

This has got to be one of the most accomodating and stress-free hotels I've ever stayed in. Aside from it's luxurious interiors, they also have the best breakfast buffet, the RASA Bistro Bar with a wide range of food selection from of Asian and Western fusions.

Can't help but stay in the poolside, I always tend to forget to go to the beach. They also have Lima Spa that is overlooking the pool. You should try the signature Lima Seminyak Massage!

Today, photography is not only used by professionals, but also the normal people wanting to document their everyday lives. To me, as a blogger, it's necessary to learn the important factors when using a camera. I don't want to be too technical, though. :D

Last week, Canon Marketing, Inc. celebrated the 2nd Manila Photo festival in SM Aura last October 02, 2015. In tandem with famous photographers and Canon Crusaders of Light members, Ibarra Deri, Wesley Villarica, and Sara Black, the leading imaging and printing solutions provider demonstrated how fashion photography is brought to a new light with its diverse portfolio of lenses, accessories, and printers.

Talks and live shoot took place during the event. There was a Shoot Out between topnotch photographers Wesley Villarica and Sara Black. Ibarra Deri shared his expertise in lighting and portrait photography and I definitely took notes from this part. Canon printers were also present and some are given away to have the consumers bring home momentos of their fashion shots.

There was also an auction of Canon products at the lowest prices. Plus, the participant with the oldest Canon camera was rewarded with a new one. Camera lovers were really all over the place, I swear!

Canon loyalists enjoyed treats and deals in Canon’s exclusive sale. They enjoyed P10,000 worth of rebate on select cameras and lenses while cameras were also on sale up to 70% off. Finally! Filipinos, especially those who cannot be served by banks and credit card companies, now have access to modern payment solutions provided by GCash beep MasterCard which they can use for everyday spending and activities. GCash beep MasterCard is an “everyday-all-in-one” card which functions as an ATM Card for cash withdrawals, a prepaid card for purchases, and a beep card for daily MRT/LRT commute.

GCash beep MasterCard is the first value-added card to be beep ready. Ford Motor Company is looking to discover sustainable designers of the future with the launch of the first-ever Ford Design Grant. The inaugural grant will reward three promising fashion design students – living in Asia or Europe – by giving them access to Ford’s sustainable fabrics for their designs, together with a supporting financial grant of US$1,000.

The three selected winners will each be asked to use the grant to develop a high-fashion outfit with fabrics provided by Ford, to showcase runway-ready designs that have minimal environmental impact. The students will be provided with a collection of sustainable fabrics, one of which is made from recycled plastic bottles and utilized to make Ford car seats.

As well as giving young designers a unique, high-profile opportunity to display their skills and creativity using Ford’s sustainable fabric, the grant is an effort to raise awareness on the importance of sustainability in design.

“Through this grant, we want to encourage students to be creative and innovative in their work by experimenting with alternative fabrics, as well as enlighten them to have a different perspective about fashion production,” said Lau. “By giving students these resources and tools, we are helping to shape the next generation of leaders in sustainable design.”

With the Philippines having its own creative pool of budding fashion designers, Ford Philippines is confident that this grant will be a good platform for young designers to showcase their talent and creativity in creating‘eco-fashion.’

“We’re very excited with launching the first Ford Design Grant in the Philippines. Not only does it provide the opportunity for young Filipino fashion designers to showcase their talent, it also allows us to think beyond the box and innovate by stretching our imagination to make use of car materials in fashion. The Filipino talent shines on the global fashion arena and we look forward to seeing some great applications from the Philippines,” said Joseph Ayllon, assistant vice president for communications, Ford Philippines.

In addition to the grant, Ford will continue its partnership with Redress – an established NGO dedicated to promoting environmental sustainability in the fashion industry – to host the Ford Design Challenge at the 2016 EcoChic Design Award competition. At the Ford Design Challenge, 10 emerging designers will use Ford seat fabrics to create innovative ensembles. The winning outfits from the challenge will be showcased on the runway at Hong Kong Fashion Week as part of the EcoChic Design Award’s fashion show.

Applications for the Ford Design Grant are now available at the Ford Design Grant website: www.digitalsnippets.ford.com/fordgrant. Deadline of submission of applications is on November 30, 2015 and the announcement of grant winners will be made in January 2016.

About last month, Inglot Philippines launched their Holiday Collection for 2015. And after attending the event, I immediately replaced my foundation, lipstick and eyebrow makeup with Inglot. I'm not even kidding, their products are worth every cent! :)

Matte Lipsticks, also called as Bullet Matte Lipstick are long-lasting and highly pigmented. It comes with four shades: pink, nude, red and coral.
